Meetings are at Chessie's 111 Grille in Barrington on the second Friday of every month.  There is usually a guest speaker from among local candidates or elected officials, and attendees include local Republican precinct committeemen as well as the general public.

A buffet breakfast is served.  Cost: $15

For the May 11 meeting, the guest speaker will beLake County Board President Dave Stohlman.

The Lake County Clerk maintains a list of the elected precinct committeemen.  There are 14 precincts.  These are voluntary positions serving local voters - not paid jobs.

Come meet your local party representatives and explore how to become more involved in local government and the election process as a volunteer.  Party officials are also typically active in local charities nd community services.

If you have concerns about local, state, or federal government, your local PC may be able to help you get in contact with the relevant officials. 

There is a lot of campaign work and other volunteer work to help inform voters about current issues and to improve local voter turnout at election time.
